Recruitment search website design for recruitment company with job board and job search plus news blog, a custom WordPress theme design.
Resource on Demand are a recruitment company working in the cloud technology sector. They provide specialist skills and recruitment knowhow to help companies at the very cutting edge of technology find the best and most talented people for them.
The current website had not been updated for a number of years and the Client felt that it was tired and out of date. They wanted a new web design that would be fun and casual and fit well with cloud technology. The new website design needed to be casual and reflect the innovative and changing world of technology that Resource on Demand specialise in. It also needed to be different, they did not want to look like every other recruitment agency. They wanted to retain their existing logo and the little man (ROD).
The site had to look different, so I thought about what recruitment is – putting people into businesses. This is the ideal scenario for a custom WordPress design and I used a schematic image to represent the business environment and locations. Schematic images work very well for the technology sector, they are bright and welcoming and with this I was able to use the little man from the logo, strategically placed throughout! I created large colourful buttons with icons. These flip around to reveal some text on the back and a link to read more. I used the same bright theme for the social media icons and other buttons in the site. The main font for this WordPress design is Open Sans and the font used for the headers is Nunito, they go well together.
The whole thing is optimised for Google and fully mobile responsive. It is built on the WordPress platform to give the client control of their content and editing.
