The META Group is a group of construction equipment and machinery dealerships operating across East and Southern Africa. The group sells new and used construction, concreting, materials handling mining and drilling equipment.
Maris are currently looking to scale up META, their machinery group. The META Group, through its various subsidiaries, currently operates in the following countries: Angola, Rwanda, Tanzania, Mozambique and is expanding to Kenya and Uganda. Meta’s goal is to provide the Kenyan market with quality new and used construction, earth moving, concreting, quarrying, mining, materials handling and logistics vehicles and equipment at the right prices, with excellent after-sales service for its customers.
META currently only has a holding page for Kenya so a brand new website is required. The website will be focused on the expansion of the machinery group into Kenya and will also cover all of the other countries that META is involved with. The website will represent all the of current businesses going forward, and they will all be rebranded to country divisions of META. The current websites for Tanzania, Angola and Rwanda will be phased out. This is why the ability to translate the site in future will be critical.
Custom website design – The website will have a professional, clean (uncluttered) and contemporary appearance; adhering to brand guidelines. All countries will operate from a single website. Products are the key in the website so product layouts must be clean and clear. Comprehensive search will enable visitors to find their ideal machinery with ease, whether that is brand new or used.
This is a website that delivers all of the things that Meta Group asked for. The home page is clearly laid out with featured equipment and promotions. There is also a latest news section, Google map with marked locations and a chance to sign up to the newsletter.
Equipment listings are clear in a grid format, with equipment type, price, location. Equipment is searchable by new/used, brand, type, location and price range.
The whole website follows the branding with attention to detail on button and icon design. The font is arial, again sticking firmly to brand guidelines.
