Salamander Voyages Website Design

Website Design for Salamander Voyages Private Yacht Charter

Once again a HUGE thank you, we are very happy with it all and you have done a fantastic job!

Tracey, Well done indeed! You have created a superb new website for us along with help from Tess! Congratulations & have a great Christmas. Kind regards

I have built many travel and holidays websites over the years and so I guess I have become a bit of a specialist. I certainly love doing them.

Many people ask for online booking and whilst this is not a problem to implement, I think there are times when a more personal approach is definitely needed. If a client is going to spend thousands of pounds on a specialist sailing holiday, I think he is going to appreciate real contact and dialogue with the business owners. That is the way Salamander do it and they run a highly successful business.

These gulets are a cut above and it is certainly a chartered sailing holiday in luxurious style. Attention to detail applies all round here from food to wine and cleanliness to comfort, they have thought of everything.

Salamander Voyages wanted a simple navigation system, so that visitors could easily find their way through the site. I agree that this is the way of the future, particularly as we are now in a mobile world. People don’t want to be faced with acres of dropdown menus, they want to be guided through the website. Here we have a very small top level navigation menu and when the visitor clicks on one of the links, perhaps “Our Boats” he arrives at a landing page where all boats are displayed. Each boat has an image, a short overview and a link to read more. So straight away the visitor can see where the boat operates and what it offers. Easy navigation, where you are taken by the hand and led through the website is definitely the way to go.

I loved designing and building this website, thanks to Salamander for this fabulous opportunity.
