Crown Court is the longest-established Presbyterian church south of the border, dating from 1711; and remains a congregation of the national Church of Scotland. They offer a “home away from home” for Scots, Americans, and fellow Presbyterians from all over the globe. Many of the congregation are rooted in the Reformed tradition of Christianity, but by no means all. Whoever you are and whatever your story, you’ll find a warm welcome awaits you at the weekly Sunday service. The ethos is very simple, everyone is welcome! The church is very proud to be a diverse and a totally inclusive church where a warm welcome is guaranteed.

The Crown Court Church of Scotland wanted to have a new website to portray their message and to ensure that people can find them. They are looking for a much more effective way to market themselves and cannot reach their audience through footfall alone. The church is physically hidden in Covent Garden and only to be found if people are already looking for it.

The website must tell the right story in the right way and be visually attractive. Beneath that the site structure will ensure that SEO is built in from the ground up. There are improvements to the website that can be made in respect of SEO. This will be an image based website with plenty of video.

The new branding was in place and the brand guidelines gave us all of the information that we needed to be define colours, fonts and tone for the design. We created a design to showcase their unqiue and very inclusive brand.

A very comprehensive navigation ensures that the visitor is able to find exactly what they are looking for, plus the beautiful grid of image links on the home page help to guide the visitor to key information. Messages are succint and very quickly enable the visitor to get a feel for this very kind and genuine inclusive church.

The aim is to encourage more people, far and wide to join the congregation. The Google maps and clear signposting on the contact page ensure that the church is easier to find for everyone.

“We are having really positive feedback on the website now it is live – everyone loves it so far!”
