I am a freelance web designer and have been designing and building websites for over a decade. I create mobile friendly sites that please my clients and their visitors. I am a WordPress specialist and thoroughly enjoy working with the platform. My clients love it too because it is so easy for them to edit and manage their content.
Previously I had a career in Sales and Marketing with Vodafone Corporate. I worked in the City of London, where I led a team to manage relationships with clients including Shell, Deloitte and KPMG. So not only do I have lots of commercial and business experience but equally a solid understanding of how to target the right market in the right way. All of this experience is invaluable when planning and designing websites today.
Client relationship management plays a huge part in my business. The number of times that I hear that a web designer or developer is not responding, not listening or has just plain disappeared is too many. I know what it means to be relied upon to deliver a great service and that’s exactly what I do for my clients.
I realised I was very interested in web design and the code behind websites when I worked on a joint intranet website project between Vodafone and Deloitte. The website would enable Deloitte employees to order equipment, raise tickets for issues and get answers to questions online. From there I went on an HTML course and have never looked back!
I completed my Design Principles degree module through Plymouth University and studied HTML & PHP programming through various courses and resources. Technologies I work with include HTML5, PHP, MySql and jQuery coding for websites.
Outside work there is nothing I enjoy more than photography and walking with my dogs beside the river in my home town of Stratford upon Avon or in the nearby Cotswolds where the views are stunning.
There are really no limits in terms of functionality, so whatever you want to be online, we can work together to make that happen.

Freelance web design feedback …
I teach people too!
I provide workshops on social media, blogging and using WordPress. I’ve had some great feedback.
“Everything has suddenly become clear and I can’t wait to start sorting out my site. I really appreciate you giving up your time to help us all when you are so busy.”
“The WordPress workshop with Tracey Rickard that I did in January has been life-changing – she was wonderful and I now feel confident (and excited) about publishing my blogs. Here’s the latest one:www.shopindyuk.wordpress.com”
“Thank you for a great workshop. I have attended about five and yours was the most useful to me. Thank you very much.”
