Finest Seven design and create gorgeous sunglasses as they put it – distinguished eyewear for the discerning individual. Founders Jesse Stevens and Ainjali Fine have a combined 26 years working in fashion and eyewear for brands including Cutler and Gross, Oliver Goldsmith, Victoria Beckham, Prada, Roland Mouret and Alexander McQueen. They are passionate about the brand and even donated their surnames to create the anagram Finest Seven. The brand holds at its core the idea that there are seven key elements in eyewear production and Finest Seven incorporates the very best of these elements in each and every style.
The Challenge
Finest Seven had a website that did not work. The functionality was broken and people were unable to purchase products online. The website design was also not mobile responsive. It was vital that people could complete online purchases through a secure payment provider, customers from all over the world want to purchase this product. Finest Seven have had some great press and have plenty of celebrities happy to wear their glasses so they needed to show this off too.
The Solution
This is a clean and very contemporary custom web design, an eComerce store design built with WordPress. Full screen images on the home page create impact and the products are showcased beautifully through the shop and their own individual product pages. Press articles and news are laid out in attractive grid formats to enable the visitor to quickly get a feel for this vibrant brand. The journal section highlights publications where the sunglasses have been featured and shows celebrities and models sporting the designs. Best of all it works!
This is a full online store with shopping cart built with WordPress and WooCommerce. Being on WordPress gives Ainjali full control of her content, news and products.
