Perceptions Marketing Solutions, Bespoke Website Design

About

Perceptions Marketing provide businesses with a strategic marketing and communication plan and will execute the plan in full or part to suit the client’s needs. They work with clients all over the UK but focus most on larger businesses in Dorset.  Louise Matthews has many years of strategic marketing experience at board level in large corporate companies, so there is no shortage of marketing know-how in this operation.

It’s not about spending lots of money on Social Media, PR & Advertising or attending events, it’s about carefully integrating your communication activities and it’s about timing. Think about who you want to talk to, where they are, what you want to say them and what you would like them to do!

The Challenge

Perceptions is a brand new company and needed a new website.  The logo and marketing images had already been created by a graphic designer and the new website needed to incorporate these.  The main branding graphics needed to be adapted to be used as header images on every page.  The website colours to blend and match with all of the existing assets.  There were also a series of quotations that Louise wanted to include in the page headers too.  A responsive web design was required along with all of the necessary search engine and page speed elements.

The Solution

This is complete web design and development built on WordPress.  On the home page I have used the logo as the main image and overlaid the navigation bar in a semi-transparent layer to match the purple base colour in the branding.  The font is Proxima, which is a very contemporary font, easy to read and co-ordinates well with the branding font.   I have used the pink, purple and green of the branding colours throughout.

I also used the branding images paired with icon graphics to create image links to the services pages.  The blog is clean and easy to navigate with posts laid out in a grid format and links to read the full content.  Social media sharing is available for all blog posts and social media links are placed in the footer of every page, along with other helpful information.

Key elements like calls to action are clear and it is evident what action is required from the visitor.  The site is easy to navigate and content is well punctuated with visuals to retain the visitor’s interest.

Built on WordPress, all of the content in this website is easy to manage and edit, from images to text to video.  Naturally this is a mobile responsive website design, looking great on all devices from desktop to the smallest smartphone.  It has the necessary elements to make it search engine friendly.
