The Flower Hub are growers in Kenya, East Africa, employing just under 1000 staff. They are also an international flower distributor shipping to countries all of the world including the USA, Japan and Europe.
The existing website was old-fashioned and out of date, a new website should portray the business and the amazing people who work within it. The new website should drive customer relationships and secure new customers by following on from initial contact made through brochures or trade show introductions. A solid scalable platform was important.
A custom corporate web design with WordPress – the existing pink and green branding was incorporated and colours used throughout the whole website design. A showcase slideshow promotes the company and gives a great feel for the business. Block images, full of colour represent the five ways of value. The site is about the people, making it clear to see what the company values most. Animated facts and figures add interest to the pages. Content management with WordPress makes the website extremely easy to add content to and edit existing content.
In the future it will be easy to ‘bolt-on’ WooCommerce for WordPress and create the e-commerce site required.
