Here are a couple of videos to help you with managing your orders and refunds. There is a lot to remember when you first start out with an eCommerce website and whilst I will have set everything up for you behind the scenes, there are still things that you will need to do ongoing.
WordPress and WooCommerce set out to make life as simple as possible when managing your orders but even so you are going to need to roll up your sleeves and dig in if you want to have a successful online store.
Orders are created when a customer completes the checkout process, and they are visible by Admin and Shop Manager users only. Each order is given a unique Order ID.
It is now possible to issue refunds directly from WooCommerce if your payment gateway allows it.
With an eCommerce store comes great responsibility and a requirement for ongoing commitment but the rewards far outweigh these when everything comes good.
A note on marketing
Nobody should every rely solely on Google for the success of their business. It can take months for Google to fully index a website and there are so many more immediate ways to market. It’s important to keep your clients interested with regular newsletters, the big retailers are always sending email marketing with their new products and special offers. Social media is the best free shout out for anyone and successful businesses share their products constantly. They make sure they include a link back to their online store to enable people to buy quickly and easily.
